The HT Group has a client that is in need of a Controller to lead their accounting and finance department. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of construction accounting, job costing, and project-based financial reporting. In this role, you will ensure financial accuracy, enhance processes, and provide insights to support the company’s growth and profitability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Over 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management, ideally within the construction or plumbing industry.
- Strong knowledge of job costing, project-based accounting, and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with certified payroll and prevailing wage regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
