Job Title: HR Assistant
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday
Hourly Pay: $20-25/hour
Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and organized HR Assistant to join our team for a temporary assignment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources department with administrative tasks, onboarding/offboarding processes, and other general HR duties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a keen interest in human resources to gain valuable experience in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including filing, data entry, and document management.
Assist in organizing and maintaining HR records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Prepare and distribute HR-related documents and communications as needed.
Onboarding/Offboarding:
Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing welcome packages and conducting orientation sessions.
Coordinate the offboarding process for departing employees, conducting exit interviews and ensuring the return of company property.
Work closely with various departments to ensure a smooth transition for both new hires and departing employees.
General HR Duties:
Respond to employee inquiries and provide information on HR policies and procedures.
Assist in employee relations matters by documenting incidents, conducting investigations, and escalating issues when necessary.
Collaborate with the HR team to facilitate training sessions and workshops.
Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an administrative role or HR-related function is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
