The HT Group is seeking an Environmental Engineer for a direct-hire opportunity with a leading petrochemical company in Orange TX. This role will ensure compliance with environmental air regulations and company policies while contributing to the design and operation of a new plant as part of the EHS&S team.

Key Responsibilities:
- evelop and manage a permit matrix for Title V and NSR permits, integrating regulatory requirements into project workflows.
- Work with EPC teams to align project design with environmental regulations.
- Assess project designs against Operational Excellence standards and environmental requirements.
- Provide regulatory guidance to ensure compliance with air quality standards.
- Support environmental compliance initiatives, including monitoring, reporting, and procedural development.
- Investigate environmental regulations and provide strategic compliance solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Environmental Sciences
- 3+ years of experience with TCEQ & EPA regulations in refinery/petrochemical facilities
- Knowledge of Polyethylene & Ethylene production processes preferred
- Strong understanding of NSPS, NESHAP, MACT, and Title V regulations
- Experience with Title V, NSR permitting, and compliance reporting
- Familiarity with environmental data systems & emissions testing
