The HT Group has partnered with an energy management advisory firm in search of a Sales Director to drive new business acquisition within the large industrial and commercial sectors within ERCOT. The ideal candidate has a strong sales background, deep knowledge of ERCOT market dynamics, and experience working with large energy consumers.
Location: Texas (remote w/ travel for client meetings)
Comp: $85-140k base + commission

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and secure large energy consumers in ERCOT, developing strategies to increase market share.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to key decision-makers across industries such as Oil & Gas, Data Centers, and Healthcare, offering expertise in energy procurement, demand response, and risk management.
- Stay informed on ERCOT trends, regulatory changes, and grid constraints while collaborating with internal teams to structure competitive energy offers.
- Meet and exceed sales targets by closing high-value contracts, leveraging data analytics, and maintaining an active pipeline in CRM software.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in energy sales with a strong track record in ERCOT.
- Expertise in power procurement, demand-side management, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
