The HT Group is currently assisting an international electronics manufacturer & distributor in the search for a qualified Account Executive for an immediate, growth-created need.  Our client is looking for a money-motivated, B2B sales professional who has demonstrated the ability to identify, evaluate and develop new business opportunities as well as nurture established key accounts. The role will be based in North Austin with expectation of 50% regional travel including attendance of pertinent trade shows and expos. 
 
Direct Hire – Base up to $70K + OTE of $100K+ (uncapped commissions) – North Austin (Onsite/Travel)
 
Responsibilities
 

  • Retaining and expanding existing company relationships, product lines, and market segments.
  • Identify, develop, and close business with new customers.
  • Prospecting new business opportunities from existing and prospective customers.
  • Attending trade shows and developing channel partner relationships to expand existing customer base.
  • Working with other sales and marketing team members to enhance technical visibility and company image within all accounts.
  • Keeping abreast of market needs and sales trends.
  • Prospecting via phone and cold calling.
  • Providing detailed and accurate reports to management on activities, forecasts, and related sales data.
  • Maintaining and updating SalesForce, including data entry, follow-up and lead tracking.
  • Provide customer quotes, ROI, proposals and product information based on specific use case and business value.

 
Qualifications
 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of Outside, B2B sales experience with a documented history of new business development required.
  • Previous SalesForce CRM experience required.
  • Experience selling physical product in a manufacturing setting highly preferred.
  • Experience selling into government or emergency management/first responder agencies preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills along with strong presentation skills.
  • Self-starter with excellent time management, planning, and organization.
  • Goal-oriented team player and a self-starter who is highly motivated to succeed.
  • Great positive attitude and relentless dedication to success.
