The HT Group is looking for an Accounting Assistant for a client in Beaumont. This is a great opportunity to advance your career with a growing company, where you’ll support all aspects of the accounting cycle. The position offers a Monday-Friday schedule from 8 am to 5 pm, with an hourly rate of $18hr. This is a contract-to-hire role, and testing is required.
Responsibilities:
- Process AR/AP and payroll
- Process sales tax reports and payments
- Reconcile bank statements
- Generate financial reports (monthly/quarterly)
- Assist with special projects as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Office Administration preferred, not required
- 2+ years of payroll experience
- QuickBooks experience is required – online is a plus
- Must be proficient in 10 Key and Typing – testing required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, QuickBooks
- Attention to detail, strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
