The HT Group is working with a client in need of an Accounting Manager to oversee the daily operations of their accounting department. This role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations, including general ledger management, month-end closing, financial reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to drive process improvements to support the company’s growth.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
– CPA or CMA certification (preferred).
– 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 4 years in a supervisory or management role.
– Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and general ledger functions.
– Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite or similar ERP systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
– Experience with financial reporting systems and automated accounting tools is a plus.
– Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team.
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively across departments.
