Job Title will be assigned commensurate with experience. As an Associate Commercial Insurance Account Manager (ACAM), you will learn to play a vital role in providing expert guidance on insurance coverage while building strong client relationships. Your primary responsibility will be to service a book of business while learning Account Manager job duties and responsibilities before assignment as a Commercial Account Manager I (CAM I). The ACAM is allocated a portion of a book of business belonging to a CAM II and performs assigned tasks under the guidance of their assigned mentor. In addition, the ACAM serves as a backup for a CSA as needed and assigned.  The CAM I serves as an insurance advisor and consultant to the agency’s commercial clients to develop an insurance coverage plan that will adequately respond to the client’s total risk management needs in accordance with laws governing insurance. The CAM I manages a smaller book of business while performing all duties of the Commercial Service Advisor (CSA). The CAM I is the primary backup for the CAM II within their assigned team.
 
This role also involves serving as a liaison between insurance carriers and clients. You’ll collaborate closely with a Producer and a Service Advisor to ensure exceptional customer service and revenue growth within our book of business. What You Need:

  • Active General Lines Property and Casualty license issued by the Texas Department of Insurance.
  • Continuing education requirements fulfilled to maintain active license status.
  • 2+ years of Commercial Account Manager/CSR experience within an insurance agency for Associate Commercial Insurance Account Manager (ACAM) or 4+ years of Commercial Insurance experience for the Commercial Insurance Account Manager (CAM I) role.
  • Must have CISR designation or be working towards completion.
  • Thorough knowledge of commercial insurance policies and coverages.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), a plus.
