The HT Group is partnering with an automotive aftermarket manufacturer to find a Director of Continuous Improvement. We are looking for an executive minded professional that is a hands-on driver of change that will be able to help existing employees professionalize to best practices, everything from data, traceability, metrics/KPIs, supply chain planning and scheduling etc. along with the right kinds of decisions on what to make real time vs. what to inventory to shelf etc.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze current processes and procedures across manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, distribution, and engineering to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Lead and manage continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and other relevant methodologies to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to measure the success of improvement initiatives and drive strategic decisions.
- Work closely with senior management members from finance, operations, and sales to align improvement strategies with organizational goals.
- Engage with all stakeholders to gain support, address concerns, and ensure the successful implementation of approved improvement plans.
- Effectively communicate complex ideas and change initiatives to various levels within the organization, driving adoption and overcoming resistance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Must have automotive industry experience (aftermarket highly preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in process improvement within manufacturing and supply chain environments
- Knowledge of High Mix Low Volume manufacturing
- Netsuite experience highly preferred
- Deep expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement principles
- Hands-on knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
