Seeking an IT Business Analyst with ERP implementation (NetSuite) expereince to work closely with business leaders to maximize the impact of IT capabilities on business performance and ensure IT services meet business needs and objectives. Must be experienced with business proess design,
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create business process documentation with swim lanes by functional area with related systems in Microsoft Visio or similar
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify problems/opportunities, assist in developing these into projects/initiatives into the project pipeline.
- Proactively speak up about potential issues that could arise across multiple areas
- Create training material and step by step guides for business process
- Strong communication skills to communicate project timeline and drive change management
- Write User Stories
- User Acceptance criteria – signoff process
- Understand business processes and system capabilities for complex, integrated systems
- Facilitate team understanding and elicit requirements for systems, integrations, and future state functionality
- Create functional process fit/gap analysis documentation which identifies and recommends resolution of any process, system, and integration related gaps
- Make suggestions for any as-is or to-be processes which are lacking and/or present a risk and help mitigate them, before they become an issue
- Create UAT test scripts and lead UAT effort for teams
- May provide go-live support and immediate post-production support activities as needed
- May work with the QA team to support system testing
- Follow best practices: documentation, project, and change management processes
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, internal/external agencies, vendors, etc.
Background Required:
- Business Analyst experience ( 3 yrs)
- Experience with business and IT process mapping based on requirements and creating process flows ( 3 yrs)
- Development of User Acceptance Test Cases
- Documenting Business Requirements related to all Project work
- Strong technical writing experience
- Microsoft Visio or similar program knowledge
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Background Preferred:
