Our client is looking for an IT Business/Financial Analyst to support various business functions within our organization, focusing on Warehouse, Shipping, Receiving, and Quality teams. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology and has a strong desire to streamline business operations by analyzing processes, identifying opportunities for improvements, and ensuring seamless communication between business units and IT solutions.
This individual will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to manage system configurations, integrations, and process improvements, particularly within the IFS Cloud ERP system.
Hybrid Austin (3 days onsite & 2 days remote).
Responsibilities
- Manage and support assigned functional business areas: Warehouse, Shipping, Receiving, and Quality.
- Achieve proficiency in IFS Cloud functionality, particularly related to Warehouse Management.
- Streamline operations and improve efficiency for Shipping and Receiving processes within IFS Cloud.
- Support and facilitate data communication and integration between IFS Cloud and other systems/platforms.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document current processes and translate them into actionable system requirements.
- Assist in identifying and implementing business process improvements, as well as technical solutions in the assigned functional areas.
- Develop a solid understanding of existing scripts from other systems and assist with any necessary modifications.
- Conduct data analysis to support business decisions and ensure proper reporting functionality across systems.
- Provide end-user training, create user manuals, and ensure proper system documentation.
- Collaborate with IT and external vendors to implement system changes and upgrades as needed.
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to system functionality, data communication, and integration.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with specific experience supporting functional areas such as Warehouse, Shipping, Receiving, and Quality preferred.
- Strong proficiency with ERP systems, ideally IFS Cloud, with an emphasis on Warehouse Management functionality.
- Experience in process optimization, particularly for Shipping and Receiving workflows within an ERP system.
- Ability to support data communication between different platforms and systems, with knowledge of integration methods and best practices.
- Familiarity with scripts or data extraction methods used in enterprise environments, with the ability to modify or support them as needed.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to translate technical solutions into business terms.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, as well as collaboration tools like Teams, SharePoint, and Power BI.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple priorities.
- Experience with SQL and Power BI.
Other Relevant Skill
- Experience in Business Analysis or related fields is desirable.
- Experience with Systems Analysis and Design is a plus.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a bonus.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with web design and APIs is a plus.
- Must be willing to work on-site 3 times per week.
