Job Description: IT Support Analyst – Microsoft Services
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft 365 Professional Services Consultant to join our team. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with deep technical expertise in Microsoft 365, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering client-focused solutions. You will work directly with customers, take ownership of defined scopes of work, and successfully deliver projects that enhance their Microsoft 365 environments.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Act as the primary technical contact during project engagements, fostering strong customer relationships.
  • Scope Execution: Take ownership of project deliverables outlined in the scope of work and ensure successful completion within timelines and budget.
  • Microsoft 365 Solutions: Design, implement, and optimize Microsoft 365 services, including but not limited to Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Microsoft 365 security features.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide hands-on configuration, migration, and integration services, ensuring alignment with client business objectives.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including implementation plans, configurations, and post-project handoff materials.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, internal teams, and customer stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and issue resolution.
  • Training: Provide knowledge transfer sessions and best practices guidance to end users and IT teams as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years in a similar customer-facing professional services or consulting role.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft 365 platform, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and compliance/security tools.
  • Certifications: Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert) preferred.
  • Project Management: Familiarity with delivering projects using defined scopes of work, timelines, and budgets.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with hybrid Microsoft 365 environments or legacy system migrations (e.g., Exchange on-premises).
  • Knowledge of identity management solutions (e.g., Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access).
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.
