The HT Group is seeking NACE II / CWI dual certified personnel to provide critical field support to the quality team for coatings and welds on a large-scale industrial furnace construction project. The project involves the construction of 48M industrial furnaces, with modularized piping, structural, and equipment installations. The role will require expertise in coating processes and welding inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards. Duration: 3 months and 12 months.
Responsibilities:
• Perform inspections and ensure proper surface preparation for coating applications
• Verify that coatings are applied in accordance with project specifications, standards, and best practices
• Conduct field assessments to ensure coating quality, integrity, and adherence to safety regulations
• Collaborate with the quality team to address any coating-related issues or discrepancies
• Inspect welding procedures and monitor welding activities on-site to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications
• Review and verify welding techniques and materials used by contractors
• Ensure all welds meet industry standards, codes, and the project’s quality requirements
• Conduct regular inspections of completed welds for consistency and adherence to project guidelines
Qualifications:
• NACE Level II Certification
• CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) Certification
• Minimum 5 years of experience in coating inspection and welding quality control within the construction or industrial sectors
• Proven track record of supporting quality teams in large-scale construction projects, particularly in industrial furnace, piping, or equipment installations
• Experience working with modularized construction scopes is a plus
• Strong knowledge of coating processes, welding codes, and standards (e.g., ASME, AWS)

Work Schedule: 5×10’s (likely increasing to 6×10’s as project progresses)
