The HT Group is seeking Commercial Lenders for the Houston and Dallas regions. Senior and Junior levels will be considered. Ideal candidates will have formal credit training and extensive experience in Commercial and Industrial lending. Strong community involvement and active participation in local networking events are key requirements for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Business Development – Identify and build relationships with commercial clients
- Portfolio Management – Monitor client portfolio, including loan exceptions and credit quality
- Networking – Actively participate in business development and networking activities
- Loan Feasibility – Analyze financials, credit, and property to assess loan viability
- Loan Management – Prepare loan packages and negotiate terms, Present credit proposals for approval
- Compliance – Ensure loan agreements are accurate and in line with policy
- Closing & Funding – Oversee timely loan closing and funding
Qualifications:
- 7+ years in banking relationship management and commercial lending
- Bachelor’s in Finance or related field, or equivalent experience
- Commitment to community engagement
- Familiar with business products (deposits, Treasury Services) and credit processes
- Strong relationship-building, needs assessment, and risk management abilities
