Job Summary:
The VP of Field Services will play a pivotal leadership role in overseeing the execution of field-based electrification projects for Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream clients. Leading a highly skilled, lean team, this individual will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and within scope, budget, and schedule. Beyond execution, the VP will also provide strategic direction, fostering operational excellence and driving continued growth.
This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to make a direct impact on project success while shaping the future of field services.

Responsibilities:
Project Execution & Management:
o Oversee and manage the execution of all field-based electrification projects, including installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
o Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget, adhering to all applicable codes and standards.
o Manage and coordinate subcontractors and vendors, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
o Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during project execution.
o Directly participate in field activities as needed.

Team Leadership & Development:
o Lead, mentor, and develop a small, highly skilled field services team.
o Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
o Provide technical guidance and support to field personnel.
o Manage performance and provide feedback to team members.

Client Relationship Management:
o Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction with project execution.
o Serve as a primary point of contact for client issues related to field services.
o Identify and pursue opportunities for additional business with existing clients.
o Ensure proper communication of project updates.

Safety & Compliance:
o Champion a strong safety culture throughout all field operations.
o Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices (NEC, OSHA, etc).
o Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures.
o Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.

Financial & Resource Management:
o Develop and manage field services budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
o Monitor and control project costs, identifying and implementing cost-saving measures.
o Manage resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
o Provide accurate reporting of project costs, and resource usage.

Electrification Expertise:
o Demonstrate a strong understanding of electrical systems, equipment, and technologies relevant to the oil and gas industry.
o Apply expertise in areas such as power generation, distribution, automation, and control systems.
o Stay up to date on new electrical technologies.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in field services management within the EPC industry, with a focus on electrical projects.
• Proven track record of successfully managing electrical projects in the Upstream, Midstream, or Downstream oil and gas sectors.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, particularly in a small company environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Ability to travel extensively to project sites.
• Hands on experience with electrical construction, and commissioning.
• Knowledge of medium and high voltage electrical systems.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience with automation and control systems.
